Average people undervalue what they have and can easily access, and overvalue what they don’t and cannot have. Entrepreneurs figure out ways to minmax based on the cards they are dealt — maximally utilize what they have or can have, and minimize the loss from what they can’t get.

The paints on the canvas aren’t as bright,And the Scream seems to bear less fright.Memory’s peaks and troughs are fading,Lost in time as mementos pass from sight.
